Di-El Tool was established in 1958 by Richard Ragone on the premises of high
quality, on time delivery, and low costs. In 1975 the company was acquisitioned
by Arthur A. Bell Jr., who has successfully maintained the original goals.
Di-El is a long established business in
Meriden,
CT. We have been manufacturing aerospace parts since the
beginning, for Hamilton Sundstrand, RCA, and for many other, smaller aerospace
businesses.
At Di-El Tool MFG., Inc. we have integrated all of our technology from
the past to “propel” us well into the future. We have broadened our horizons
from just aerospace, to working with customers in various fields, such as,
automotive, electrical, medical, water filtration and agricultural.
Di-El Tool produces class-A tooling and stampings. We build single station,
compound, and progressive dies. We work with many different materials such as,
stainless steel, cold and hot rolled steel, aluminum, copper, brass, plastic,
phenolics, and any produced material that can be stamped, machined, and
fabricated. Di-El Tool has also been doing assemblies for years. We assemble
cables, wires, and metal products.
“Cradle to grave” jobs are our specialty. Once a print is received, the part is
designed to fit the customer’s specifications. The required tooling and dies are
built, and the production is complete within a month’s time. After each process
the parts are inspected. A final inspection takes place before the parts are
boxed and shipped.
Our quality system is second to none. We are AS9100 certified.
Available services include SPC (statistic
process control), hardness testing, and pull force testing. Our standard
functions consist of document control, scheduled instrument calibration, first
article and first piece inspections.
